As silly as this may sound, I learned how to pop popcorn in a machine this evening. I'm not really much of a popcorn eater. Not to say I don't like it, but it's not something I ever think to eat unless someone places it in front of me. I mentioned that I was hungry tonight and my mom suggested popcorn. So I got out the popcorn machine...and stared at it. Then proceeded to ask a lot of questions about this incredibly simple process. And I'm glad I did because left to my own devices I would probably have added way more popcorn seeds and melted way too much butter.
