I discovered today that Calgary is large. Okay, I knew this already, but I'm pretty sure it's much larger than the last time I checked. While the population itself may not be massive, it is so spread out that I wouldn't be surprised if it has a bigger square footage than Tokyo.
Okay, just checked. Tokyo is substantially, as in almost 3 times, larger than Calgary in square kilometres. This is in fact something I did learn today.
