I learned today that golf was an Olympic sport for two years, in 1900 and 1904. And not only that, but that last person to win gold for golf at the Olympics was a Canadian. His name was George Lyon and the Olympics were in St. Louis that year. I also learned that golf will again be part of the Olympics starting at the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. I'm not particularly excited about this, but that's what I learned today. I'm also a little surprised that in 33 days of this project, I've managed to post about golf 3 times.
