I'm in the middle of trying to put together some funding proposals for next year. I realized today that I need to do a little more background research. So, I learned a lot about how the 2007 revised version of Canada's Food Guide was put together, what praise and criticism it has received, and how its purpose has changed since it was originally developed as a war-time rationing guide.
I also learned that "embroiled" has a slightly different connotation than I thought. Good thing I'm not in the habit of using this word.
