YLSNE 71

Another re-learning day. The other side of the humidity coin: when it's hot, humidity makes it feel even hotter, so when it's cold, it feels even colder. While walking home this evening, I felt quite chilled to the bone, and figured the temperature must have dropped a lot as the sun was setting. Checked my trusty iPhone, and nope, still 15 degrees. Cool, but not chilled-to-the-bone-I-just-want-to-put-on-a-blanket-and-drink-tea kind of cold. No wonder I thought I was much more resilient to the elements in Edmonton, I was.

I also learned the value of an area rug today. I picked up a rug at Winners this afternoon, just to give my feet something softer to rest on over the cold tile floor. I didn't realize how this small rectangle could transform the whole aesthetic of my apartment into a cozy home.
