I caught a few snippets of the Olympics opening ceremonies this afternoon. While I'm not really a "sports" fan, I do enjoy a bit of olympics and there's something about the opening ceremonies that tugs at the heartstrings.
During Jacques Rogge's speech, I learned that this is the 3rd time London has hosted the olympics, more than any other city. And I also learned that this is the first time that all participating teams have both male and female players. That's very cool.
And I gotta say, that's one of the coolest Olympic flames I've ever seen.
