I learned some minor things today such as black pepper costs a lot at the grocery store and umbrellas are an oddly tempting item to buy when you really don't need one.
But more importantly, I learned more about the extent to which our social statuses and experiences shape our perceptions of reality, and that hermeneutics is not solely a field of biblical scholarship.
