Today was a day of reconnecting with people, and going to parties. I learned that it is possible to have a defunct turkey that refuses to cook. I learned that my nephew is a wonderfully cuddly little boy. I learned more about what's been going on with people in the past in the past few months. I learned that adoption processes vary considerably depending on locations. And I re-learned that there's something special about a group of people who have known each other for over 30 years.
