I wrote all day today. I went out for one wee walk to get some fresh air and stretch my legs, but other than that, I sat in front of the computer screen.
One of my papers was for my teaching seminar, and while doing a bit of extra research today, I discovered more about the state of higher education in Ontario. The new directions that it's moving, the focus on skills development, and basically being totally based on a not-so-subtle economic agenda. And this has interesting implications for how I would teach in an Ontario university.
