- You find spiders and other creepy-crawlers lurking in the basement
- You have several jackets on hand depending on what time of day you are out of the house: winter parka in the morning, but light spring cotton in the afternoon
- And you can never decide which shoes to wear: the summer flats you've anxiously been waiting to wear again, the big winter boots because there's still some slippery ice and snow, the rubber boots because of melting ice and snow creating massive puddles everywhere
- On the same street, you see people in shorts and sandals, and people with parkas and toques.
- You find trees and bushes you forgot you had poking through the snow
- You start seeing neighbours you forgot you had venturing outdoors
- Your outlook on life is all of a sudden much rosier, even though nothing has really changed in your circumstances
- The seasonal farmers markets start operating again
- And best of all, you get to start riding your bike to work again!
